We are so fortunate in St Brigid’s to have such a fantastic outdoor area, down our bank. In Primary Three we love to watch out and see the fabulous birds that come and go from this area and we thoroughly enjoyed participating in the RSPB Big Bird Watch in January 🐦. This inspired us to make some bird food to encourage different types of birds to visit our bank. We used lard, poppy seeds, raisins and oats. We then wrote up a recipe to make sure we could try it again at home. They must have enjoyed it because we didn’t see any crumbs left 2 days later!!
