What a fascinating day we had today in Downpatrick Museum! We were lucky enough to be one of the first visitors in the new ‘Ballykinlar History Hut’ and we got to see what conditions the soldiers lived in during WW2. We got to see so many artefacts from the war and we heard some great stories about evacuees and what it was like being a child during the time. 📚
