To celebrate National Poetry Day, Primary 6 decided to use the wonderful natural surroundings that we have in St Brigid's to inspire us to write some autumn poetry. We took our learning outdoors and used our devices to capture a snapshot of autumn which we then used to create our poems. Together, we thought about what we could see, hear and feel and then pulled our ideas together to begin the writing process. After we had composed them, we used our own photographs to display where we got our information from. Below are just a few examples of our poems.
